Maiden Name is a documentary exploring a case study of cultural identities and generational trauma. It examines how the rejection or yearning for a community shifts between multiple familial generations. Flynn Lloyd, who wrote, directed, filmed and edited Maiden Name mixes media and different documentary styles to invite her audience into a view of her diary. 
Maiden Name was an Official Selection of the 2022 Wheaton Film Festival and a Semi-Finalist of the 2022 Dumbo Film Festival.
